Abstract

In December 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kolaka Regency will be 1.99 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.95.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in 8 expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.12 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.41 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.83 percent; transportation group by 0.70 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 4.35 percent; education group of 0.10 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.21 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 7.13 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation were: the clothing and footwear group at 0.15 percent; the health group was 0.07 percent and the information, communication and financial services group was 0.62 percent.

Kolaka Regency in December 2024 experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 0.05 percent.
