Abstract

• In September 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Kolaka Regency will be 1.74 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.98.

• Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in 8 expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.52 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.03 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.55 percent; transportation group by 1.43 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 5.34 percent; education group of 0.10 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.21 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.90 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation were: equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group at 0.02 percent; health group at 0.09 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.44 percent.

• Kolaka Regency in September 2024 experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 0.06 percent.
