Development of Kolaka Regency Consumer Price Index October 2024

• In October 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Kolaka Regency will be 1.66 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.80.

• Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in 9 expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.43 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.03 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.64 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.16 percent; transportation group at 0.81 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 4.92 percent; education group of 0.10 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.21 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 5.60 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation were: the health group at 0.09 percent and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.79 percent.

• Kolaka Regency in October 2024 experienced month to month (m-to-m) deflation of 0.17 percent.
