In August 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kolaka Regency of 1.95 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.92.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in 7 expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 3.59 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.03 percent; transportation group by 1.53 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 5.47 percent; education group by 0.10 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 3.14 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.35 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation were: housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.44 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.02 percent; health group by 0.09 percent; and information, communication, and financial services group by 0.44 percent.
Kolaka Regency in August 2024 experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation of 0.01 percent.
