In May 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kolaka Regency will be
2.48 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.51.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by
an increase in 8 expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and
tobacco group by 3.33 percent; housing, water, electricity and household
fuel group at 2.79 percent; equipment, tools and routine household
maintenance group at 4.58 percent; transportation group by 1.91 percent;
recreation, sports and culture group at 1.51 percent; education group by
0.1 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 2.51 percent;
and the personal care and other services group at 4.94 percent. Meanwhile,
the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation were: the clothing and
footwear group at 0.06 percent; health group at 0.11 percent; and the
information, communication and financial services group at 0.28 percent.
Kolaka Regency in May 2024 experienced month to month (m-to-m)
deflation of 0.24 percent.
