In January, Southeast Sulawesi's exports reached US$ 432.27 million and imports amounted to US$ 175.89 million

Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's export value in January 2024 reached US$432.27 million or a decrease of 5.79 percent compared to exports in December 2023 which was recorded at US$458.84 million. On the other hand, the export volume in January 2024 was recorded at 327.61 thousand tons or an increase of 35.20 percent compared to the export volume in December 2023 which was recorded at 242.32 thousand tons.

The import value of Southeast Sulawesi in January 2024 reached US$175.89 million, down 4.15 percent compared to December 2023 or down 29.44 percent compared to January 2023. The import volume in January 2024 was worth 353.58 thousand tons, down 27.86 percent compared to December 2023 or down 45.87 percent compared to January 2023.
