December Exports Reached 458.84 Million US$ and Imports Worth 183.51 Million US$

Abstract

The export value of Southeast Sulawesi in December 2023 reached US$458.84 million or an increase of 5.51 percent compared to exports in November 2023 which was recorded at US$434.90 million. On the other hand, the export volume in December 2023 was recorded at 242.32 thousand tons, down 17.63 percent compared to the export volume in November 2023 which was recorded at 294.20 thousand tons.

The import value of Southeast Sulawesi in December 2023 reached US$183.51 million, up 8.14 percent compared to November 2023 or up 65.54 percent compared to December 2022. The import volume in December 2023 was worth 490.11 thousand tonnes, down 1.56 percent compared to November 2023 or an increase of 120.82 percent compared to December 2022.
