In February 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kolaka Regency was 2.79 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.45.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in 7 expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.64 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.11 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 2.86 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 3.77 percent; transportation group by 2.06 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.99 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group amounted to 2.14 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced y-on-y deflation were: the health group at 0.55 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.40 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 0.48 percent. Meanwhile, the education group did not experience change/was relatively stable.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Kolaka Regency in February 2024 is 0.4 percent and the y-to-d inflation rate is 0.56 percent.
