In March 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kolaka Regency of 1.95 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.21.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by an increase in 9 expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 5.05 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 1.37 percent; health group by 0.02 percent; transportation group by 0.48 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 1.35 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 3.50 percent; education group by 1.23 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 3.58 percent; and personal care and other services group by 10.70 percent. Meanwhile, the groups experiencing y-on-y deflation were: clothing and footwear group by 0.35 percent and housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 10.11 percent. Kolaka Regency in March 2025 experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 2.46 percent.
