Abstraction
  • Kendari City inflation in September 2020 was recorded at 0.26 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.55. Of the 90 cities, 34 cities experienced inflation and 56 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Gunungsitoli (North Sumatra Province) with 1.00 percent with a CPI of 104.96 and the lowest inflation was recorded in Pontianak (West Kalimantan Province) and Pekanbaru (Riau Province) each at 0.01 percent with a CPI of 105 each , 50 and 103.44.
  • The inflation that occurred in Kendari City was caused by an increase in the price index in the food, beverage and tobacco group and the housing, water, electricity and household fuels group by 0.52 percent each; food and beverage / restaurant supply group 0.29 percent; equipment, tools, and household routine maintenance group 0.24 percent; personal care and other services group 0.16 percent; health group 0.07 percent; and the sub-group of information, communication and financial services at 0.01 percent. The transportation group experienced deflation of 0.07 percent. Meanwhile, the clothing and footwear group, the recreation, sports and culture group, and the education group did not experience any changes / were relatively stable.
  • Commodities contributing to inflation include household fuels, mackerel / mackerel / banyar fish / gembolo / aso-aso fish, lime / limes, filter clove cigarettes, anchovies, live chicken, Moringa leaves, flying fish. fish, white cigarettes, and gold jewelery.
  • Commodities contributing to deflation include yellow tail fish, instant dry noodles, bananas, purebred chicken eggs, online 4-wheeled vehicle rates, young corn / putren, skipjack / hawksbill fish, spinach, shallots, and chicken meat.
