Abstract

The export value of Southeast Sulawesi in May 2019 was recorded at US $ 132.25 million or decreased by 27.06 percent compared to April 2019 which was recorded at US $ 181.32 million. Meanwhile, export volume in May 2019 was recorded at 795.28 thousand tons or an increase of 15.93 percent compared to April 2019 which was recorded at 685.98 thousand tons.
The total export of Southeast Sulawesi during January-May 2019 reached 4,724.93 thousand tons or US $ 652.37 million.The import value of Southeast Sulawesi in May 2019 was recorded at US $ 89.74 million or an increase of 66.31 percent compared to April 2019 which was recorded at US $ 53.96 million. While the import volume in May 2019 was recorded at 282.40 thousand tons or an increase of 163.63 percent compared to April 2019 which was recorded at 107.12 thousand tons.
The total imports of Southeast Sulawesi from January to May 2019 reached 659.56 thousand tons or worth US $ 254.65 million.
