Long-Form Census Has Started

Today, 1 June 2022, Statistics of Kolaka Regency has started the Long Form Census to continue the 2020’s Census. The Long Form Census is held by using samples all across Kolaka regency. It is employed 74 people and is supervised by 25 people. The Census will end in late June.

In addition, the Census aims to provide the count, composition, distribution, and characteristics of the Indonesian population in order to form One-Data Indonesia.

The Census is divided into a couple of stages. The first stage uses a short-form questionnaire and aims to produce some counts. After that, the second stage uses a long-form questionnaire and produces demography parameters such as natality, mortality, migration, etc. These parameters will be used as the indicators for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and The National Medium-Term Development Planning (RPJMN).
