Kolaka - Today we have just joined the Rakorsinjus to ensure that the publication of Kolaka In Figures 2020 is valid, accurate and can be accounted for. This activity was held by BAPPEDA of Kolaka Regency at the Sutan Raja Hotel.
For information, Kolaka in numbers is the annual publication of BPS in Kolaka Regency. In this publication, the public can know Kolaka if seen in figures, for example population, area, unemployment, poverty.
In this Rakorsinjus, the Kolaka Regent who was represented by Assistant I for the Government and Public Welfare Drs. Muh. Bakri, SH, MH stated that "Data is a very important part, both as input in development planning, and as output in the form of evaluation material". The Kolaka Regent also requested an explanation from the Kolaka Regency BPS why the Kolaka poverty rate was still high even though economic growth had increased.
On this occasion, the Head of BPS Kolaka, Ade Ida Mane, said that economic growth does not automatically affect poverty levels at the same time. It must be seen the constituent components of the Kolaka PDRB number, whether the compiler is more dominated by capital-intensive or labor-intensive businesses. If it is dominated by capital-intensive businesses, it does not directly affect the community, and it takes time until the effect really has an impact on poverty levels. If it is dominated by labor-intensive businesses, this can directly affect poverty levels in Kolaka District. In addition, there needs to be research into the factors that influence poverty in Kolaka District so that poverty alleviation programs are more targeted.
