Opening of SAKERNAS Training February 2020

Kolaka - The National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) is one of the surveys conducted by BPS which aims to obtain key labor data. These data include data on labor force participation rate (TPAK), open unemployment rate (TPT), employment opportunity level (TKK), average salary / wages of working population, number of residents working according to business field and others.

Given the importance of the employment data, careful preparation is needed, including training SAKERNAS officers so that they have readiness to conduct data collection. Kolaka Regency BPS conducted SAKERNAS staff training which lasted for 2 (two) days, from January 22 to January 23, 2020 at the Zam-Zam Hotel Kolaka. The training was attended by BPS Kolaka District organic staff consisting of 6 enumerators and 3 supervisors. The training took place with regional instructor Mr. Zulfikar Halim Lumintang who is a BPS Social Statistics Staff of Kolaka Regency.

At the opening of the training, the Head of the Kolaka District BPS, Mr. Ade Ida Mane advised the officers to have a lot of discussions regarding issues that recur almost every year and special circumstances in the SAKERNAS field the previous year. In addition, during data collection in the field officers are expected to be able to carry out their duties well so that they can produce quality data.
